Your Impact

The Tax Manager will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Tax Manager will have a primary responsibility for annual and quarterly tax provisions calculations, tax filings, tax due diligence for acquisitions, analysis and implementation of new accounting pronouncements, (“FIN 48”), and other tax areas important to the company. This position will report to the Tax Director.  



  • Oversee and plan the work of the Sr. Corporate Tax Accountant(s) and Corporate Tax Accountants.
  • Calculate the quarterly/annual worldwide income tax provision and supporting financial reporting requirements (ASC 740) for domestic operations and related footnote disclosures.
  • Manage the software implementation process and updates for all tax related items.
  • Analyze and update the Company's detailed inventory of cumulative tax deferreds and FIN 48 uncertain tax position liabilities.
  • Monitor procedures for compliance with Company policies and coordinate with Internal Audit regarding their testing.
  • Assist with the monitoring of the ETR and tax cash-flow forecasts for management, identifying known or expected changes in tax legislation, tax audits and projected book/tax differences.
  • Assist with tax research projects related to US and state tax issues and interpret tax law changes that impact the tax return positions.
  • Assist with the management of federal and state government agency audits and respond to correspondence from government agencies.
  • Maintain continuous awareness of the latest developments, best practices and trends in the functional areas of responsibility.

Job Requirements


  • Minimum 5 years of tax accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Finance, or related field.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures with the ability to operate most standard office equipment.
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.
  • English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
