Senior Accounting Manager 

Headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee, Acadia Healthcare was established in January 2005 to develop and operate a network of behavioral health facilities across the country.

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Senior Accounting Manager I is responsible for maintaining equity ledgers, performing high level reviews and analysis of consolidated financial information, reviewing and preparing certain financial statement disclosures and reviewing quarterly and annual financial statements.

Responsibilities
  • Maintains equity ledgers, including stock compensation calculations, and directly interacts with executive management as it relates to stock grants and vesting.
  • Compiles information to be used in quarterly financial filings.
  • Detail reviews quarterly and annual financial reports to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and the SEC.
  • Assists Director of Financial Reporting with implementation of new accounting guidance, as needed.
  • Reviews and performs general accounting activities, including reconciliation and analysis.
  • Prepares ad hoc requests from executive management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Seven years of accounting experience.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to next level.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • CPA preferred.
