Your Job as a Senior Manager, Corporate Development: 

This position will work in the corporate development group to move forward important company growth initiatives, both M&A and de novo.  The specific job responsibilities will include preparation of opportunity evaluation presentations, financial analyses and modeling, coordination of broader development deal process, and determination of actionable recommendations, among other customary corporate development group responsibilities.  Opportunities to present to senior-level executives and interaction with outside professionals and executives will be encouraged and commonplace.  Negotiating and managing internal and external relationships is critical to the success of this position and desire to grow with a dynamic corporate development team is essential.

Your Responsibilities as a Senior Manager, Corporate Development:

  • Desire to take on a substantive role in the development group that is charged with discharging key strategic goals and objectives of organization.
  • Ability to develop, maintain and distribute reports and financial models as needed.
  • Perform statistical analysis on financial data, identify trends and develop hypotheses.
  • Take an active role in target outreach, modeling oversight, process management, analytics oversight, deal rationale, diligence, and legal document processing.
  • Act as a liaison to broader finance, strategy and legal teams and help coordinate efforts to achieve development goals and objectives.
  • Deliver and craft high-quality presentations for senior executives and board.
  • Define and develop key corporate development opportunity metrics, indicators; analyze and interpret financial and operational performance and track key objectives and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop hypotheses, gather data, brainstorm alternatives, and generate recommendations on growth opportunities.
  • Integrate relevant sets of data into frameworks which can then be used to make decisions and prioritize strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy in working with and holding accountable internal customers.

Your Skills and

Job Requirements

as a Senior Manager, Corporate Development:

  • 3 – 5 years of financial analyst experience in corporate development or investment banking is desired
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or Economics preferred. Master’s degree in business would be viewed favorably but not essential.
  • Proven analytical, problem solving, and quantitative abilities that can be demonstrated through work related experience or in coursework in applicable fields.
  • Top academic performance with comfort operating in a fast-paced environment that values initiative, creativity, maturity and pose.
  • Strong quantitative background and analytical skills coupled with attention to detail.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and modeling skills.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
