Your Job as a Recovery Coach:

The Recovery Coach assists the care management team in providing a seamless continuum of care.  They will maintain regular and constant communication with insurance companies, the finance department, treatment team members, patients and their families to increase quality and cost-effective outcomes. The Recovery Coach will assist patients in accessing medical, clinical, vocational and rehabilitative services as necessary.

We have 8 hour, daily shifts that allow our employees to have stable schedules and enjoy quality time away from the facility. Hours are flexible, hours/days to be determined. 40 hours per week.

Your Responsibilities as a Recovery Coach:

  • Providing care management and care coordination services for patients in the clinic. Responsible for coordinating continuum of care activities for assigned patients and ensuring optimum utilization of resources, service delivery, and compliance with external agencies and referral sources requirements;
  • May also be responsible for conducting individual, and family educational sessions, various duties related to coordinating treatment and discharge activities, as needed;
  • Coordinates in a timely manner, issues or activities relevant to the team, and/or to the team’s relationship within the facility or treatment milieu; and,
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Your Skills and Qualifications as a Recovery Coach:

  • High School Diploma required, with an Associates’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related Human Service field from an accredited college or university preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience working in behavioral health or addiction recovery setting preferred.
  • Previous experience in case management and/or utilization review preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Certified Recovery Coach or Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist preferred, but not required.
