Your Job as a Physician Recruiter:

The Physician Recruiter will recruit, support, and give guidance to physician recruitment initiatives for physician sourcing and recruitment within assigned facilities. Develops and performs physician recruitment strategy utilizing key performance indicators for assigned facilities and searches. Responsible for day-to-day activities of running a full physician recruitment desk.

Your Responsibilities as a Physician Recruiter:

  • Sources and refers qualified physician candidates.
  • Applies physician recruitment strategies in accordance with the needs and goals for assigned facilities and their physician searches.
  • Communicate physician sourcing strategy to meet facility goals and objectives.
  • Execute and build effective sourcing, assessment, and closing approaches with an ability to manage customer expectations through a deep understanding of the needs of the facility.
  • Develop talent networks in targeted areas to turn prospects into candidates.
  • Develops data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interview process and hiring results
  • Represent company at professional trade shows, conferences and job fairs.
  • Establish successful relationships with universities and residency programs.
  • Interact with leadership including the hospital CEO’s and facility managers, and internal legal counsel to convey information in a timely manner.
  • Maintain Physician Recruitment pipeline dashboards for assigned facilities.

Your Skills and

Job Requirements

as a Physician Recruiter:

  • 5+ years of full-life cycle Physician/Provider recruiting.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Behavioral healthcare experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of recruitment practices.
  • Experience with residency recruiter a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
