At San Jose Behavioral Health, our counseling professionals provide treatment and support to assist clients in their recovery from behavioral problems and assist with modifying problem behaviors; may also provide counseling services to families of clients.

 Summary:

San Jose Behavioral Health is currently seeking a LPT/LVN (Licensed Psychiatric Technician/Licensed Vocational Nurse). The LPT/LVN will work directly with the treatment team to provide safe, quality care to our patients.  The LPT/LVN provides direct patient care/support and is responsible for responding to patients’ requests, conducts patient rounds, and assists patients that are unable to attend to their activities of daily living.

 Requirements/Qualifications:

Ideal candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, and will have graduated from an accredited LPT/LVN program, possessing a current state licensure.  CPI/CPR certified is required.  The optimum team player will have a minimum of one year experience as an LPT and/or LVN, with one year acute psychiatric experience is strongly preferred.  Qualified bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
