Your Job as an IT Project Manager II:

The IT Project Manager II is responsible for the overall planning, management and completion of IT projects on a wide variety of business units and programs. You would use project management skills to define project deliverables, identify resource requirements, provide reporting structures and ensure projects are completed within budget, on time and in scope. 

We have 8 hour, daily shifts that allow our employees to have stable schedules and enjoy quality time away from the facility.

Operating hours will be 8:00am-5:00pm located at our Coporate Office in Franklin, TN. 

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities as an IT Project Manager II:

  • Manage multiple medium to large technical projects and/or programs from beginning to end
  • Develop project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Integrate project plans and schedules to create a cohesive plan with identifiable critical path, task dependencies and major milestones
  • Build project budgets, procurement plans, and track project expenses
  • Work with team leads to assign, schedule, review and monitor project work
  • Manage risks and issues logs for project
  • Track project communications, meeting minutes, and major decisions
  • Project status updates
  • Maintain professional communication and working relationships with project stakeholders and team members (including C-level business stakeholders)

Job Requirements

Your Skills and Qualifications as an IT Project Manager II:

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with a formalized PMO structure and PPM tool such as Microsoft Planner Portfolio, CA PPM/Clarity, or Planview
  • 4-5 years of experience in a Project Manager role
  • Concise and diplomatic communication skills
  • Solid understanding of both Infrastructure and Applications projects
  • Ability to comprehend and manage technically complex tasks
