Job Description

  • Completes admission nursing assessments, quarterly nursing assessments and annual nursing assessments as required by regulatory agencies.
  • Complete documentation in the medical record accurately, timely, and in accordance with regulatory and corporate guidelines.
  • Provide on call RN Services as requested by DON.
  • Report pertinent information and/or changes in patient condition to LIP, DON, and/or on-call nurse as appropriate and in a timely manner.
  • Utilize the nursing process which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Demonstrate competence in correctly giving prescribed medication.
  • Demonstrate behavior that is consistent with leadership.
  • Transcribe practitioner orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Complete medication discrepancy forms and notify LIP when they occur.
  • Complete individualized nursing care plans as needed
  • Follows all safety policies and adhere to all worker's compensation program guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
