Your Job as a Human Resources Business Partner: 

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides strategic and tactical HR support to a designated customer base of field management and Human Resources representatives. Facilitate the creation of the desired workplace culture and an engaged and productive workforce through Acadia’s policies, programs and practices.

Your Responsibilities as a Human Resources Business Partner:

  • Assist in executing action-oriented strategies for human capital that tie to measurable deliverables.
  • Pro-actively identify, design, and execute retention and engagement strategies to continually develop and retain high performer and high potential talent.
  • Provide expertise and guidance in the areas of culture, change management, talent assessment and development, succession planning and performance management.
  • Provide HR consultation for key functional areas within assigned group to include employee relations, compliance and compensation analysis.
  • Provide alignment at the functional level to identify efficiencies, provide consistency, streamline processes, methodologies and practices in the areas of human resources while promoting HR best practices.
  • Analyze and apply HR metrics and trends to develop innovative recommendations to solve short-term and long-term business opportunities and challenges.
  • Champion organizational change and support initiatives to promote inclusion, diversity and facility culture.
  • Advise designated leaders on performance counseling and discipline procedures. May consult on suspension or termination of employment actions and if provide information on RIF processes and severance, as needed.
  • Visit assigned facilities to assess, advise and support HR operations, as needed.
  • Investigate employee relations issues of high complexity, which may include issue resolution, employee and management counseling and performance improvement, as needed.
  • Partner with designated leaders to support compliance standards (Joint Commission, CARF, DOL, HR policies, etc.) and create an environment of compliance and excellence.
  • Lead enterprise-wide HR projects or initiatives. May serve as the Project Lead working with other team members and key leaders to develop, implement, and make improvements to key processes and initiatives.

Your Skills and

Job Requirements

as a Human Resources Business Partner:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business; Master degree preferred.
  • Five to seven years’ experience in an Employee Relations or Human Resources management role required. Preferably in a healthcare and/or multi-site environment; strong generalist experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge and experience with accreditation and licensing organizations such as Joint Commission, CARF, etc.
  • Skilled in leading initiatives ranging from complex to highly complex where the impact is significant in supporting the needs of the designated group.
  • Demonstrated experience in change management working with acquisitions and start-up sites.
  • Intellectual capability, HR operational knowledge and demonstrated ability to gain immediate credibility to influence and advise senior leadership.
  • Willing to travel up to 30%- currently observing COVID restrictions.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred.
