Healthcare Data Analyst

PURPOSE STATEMENT

The Healthcare Data Analyst works with the Compliance Department to create a platform for Acadia Healthcare to interpret system wide healthcare data. Communicates with facilities on data submission and tracks compliance with reporting time frames.

Responsibilities
  • Be creative in interpreting the data in ways that are both diagnostic of the quality of care and outcomes, and predictive of opportunities to improve
  • Work with Acadia’s departments to capture data from Acadia’s various systems (HRIS, risk management, patient accounting, patient experience, etc.)
  • Validate the quality of the captured data
  • Decipher the data for comparison and make recommendations for quality measure selection.
  • Create an interface for clinicians and support staff to understand the data and its implications (e.g., trending, dashboards, graphical presentation)
  • Work with Acadia’s Quality and Compliance staff to innovate ways of interpreting data
  • Maintain the interface that translates the data.
  • Twenty five percent (25%) of time will be working with the Chief Compliance Officer to manage investigations of compliance and clinical matters raised through Acadia’s compliance hotline and other avenues. 

Job Requirements

  • Ability to engage with others in a team environment
  • Six Sigma or Lean certification preferred
