Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist 60 Miles from Philadelphia for Acadia Healthcare in Pennsylvania

Acadia Healthcare/Tower Behavioral Health are actively recruiting General Psychiatrists to join our group in our newest Pennsylvania facility- 60 Miles from Philadelphia. There is an Academic Affiliation with Thomas Jefferson University and another Partnership with the University of Pennsylvania to operate Level II Trauma Center. The region offers excellent schools, colleges, parks, and lower than expected cost of living. You will enjoy country living with easy accessibility to shore points, two airports and major metro areas, such as Philadelphia, Washington DC and New York City. Our Behavioral Programs provide 60min for intake appointments, 30min for transfers, and 15 min for follow-ups / medical checks for Adults.

  • Brand new 144-bed, state-of-the-art psychiatric inpatient treatment facility.
  • Full time inpatient psychiatry positions available on specialized units with treatment tailored to patient diagnosis.
  • Caseloads vary and are dependent on patient population.
  • 24-beds on each unit with capacity to sub-divide into 11 & 13- bed units
  • Private and semi-private patient rooms; visible, on unit patient care areas for clinical group & individual therapy.
  • Private patient courtyard for every 24- bed complement.
  • Expansive patient cafeteria for off-unit dining with large private outdoor dining space that also serves as additional outdoor activity space for patients.
  • Two half court indoor gyms for patient activities.
  • Patient vegetable garden, bird sanctuary and butterfly garden on campus.
  • MD or DO; Board Certified/Board Eligible in Adult Psychiatry

Additional Psychiatric services offered by Tower Behavioral Health includes an Assertive Community Treatment Program and Partial Hospitalization Program.
