Overview

Financial Data Coordinator

The Financial Data Coordinator is responsible for developing AR and claims analyses in support of Acadia’s Comprehensive Treatment Centers (CTC) Revenue Cycle function and for the development/maintenance of advanced ad hoc reports/databases consistent with industry standards, internal policies/procedures and general requirements.  Reports are produced for Revenue Cycle functions such claims submission, insurance follow-up, eligibility, authorization, cash management, credits/refunds, and charge/payment posting.  Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and critical thinking skills are required for timely report generation/distribution through use of computer-based applications and data.

Responsibilities
  • Runs billing and claims reports to assist Division BOD in developing action plans to address past and current AR
  • Provides Division BOD, CFO, and other Division Management with written review and recommendations based on analysis of revenue reports
  • Works with IT on reporting needs, standardization and other system issues.
  • Will generate data and reports and a regular schedule as directed by the Division BOD as well as any ad hoc reporting as needed. Based on the generated reports the Report Specialist will provide analysis and insight to the data generated and presented to Division BOD and others as needed
  • Maintains knowledge of industry changes and trends and provides recommendations and guidance to Division BOD.
  • Will proactively notify Division BOD of any significant variance to standard metrics or reporting.
  • Will provide data and analysis as needed supporting the payor contract management team.
  • Daily support of the Division BOD and associated teams through the application of data analysis in order to monitor current performance.
  • Assist with special projects within the RCM department and also throughout the entire organization when required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related healthcare field preferred. 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Demonstrates strong Revenue Cycle technical, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with information technology and superior skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
