Overview

Acadia Healthcare is searching for an experienced Division President to run operations in the South East of the country. Multi-site substance abuse and recovery operations experience preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities include over-site of approximately 10-12 hospitals and treatment centers.The Division President reports to the Eastern Group President at Acadia.

Acadia Healthcare operates a network of 583 behavioral healthcare facilities with approximately 18,100 beds in 40 states, the United Kingdom and Puerto Rico. Responsibilities
  • Assists the facility CEO with translating annual revenue and profit goals into specific plans that will achieve desired goals and assure growth and development objectives are met.

  • Play a key role in the development, maintenance of licensure/accreditation, financial performance, and continuous performance improvement at a macro level.

  • Collaborates with the governing body on a quarterly basis in the development of hospital-specific annual operating, capital budgets and strategic business plans

  • In conjunction with the facility CEO, the Division President will assure that the hospital achieves its objectives in all of the following key performance areas:

    • effective patient care outcomes
    • appropriate fiscal management
    • maintenance of licensure, accreditation and other regulatory criteria
    • implementation of focused business development processes
    • medical staff compliance with regulatory and accreditation guidelines
  • Routinely visits assigned facilities to review financial operations and provide the facility CEO and CFO with feedback and guidance specific to improvement opportunities.

  • Shares best practices from experiences both internally and externally – suggests additional training/knowledge that will assist the CEO in career growth.

Going the Extra Mile for Our Patients

  • Maintains a current knowledge of healthcare industry trends and changes and ensures facility is prepared and compliant.
  • Leads development of continuum of care to include comprehensive outpatient services and community based programs.

Job Requirements

  • BA in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing or a clinical discipline; MBA/MHA preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior leadership/CEO role in a healthcare setting.  Multi-site management role preferred.

  • Proven ability to lead successful licensure, accreditation, and compliance efforts in a behavioral health facility.

  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of facility administration and clinical operations.

  • Strong working knowledge of financial management and business development processes.

  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
