Overview

Director of Clinical Services

Vantage Point of NWA is seeking a Director of Clinical Services to lead an interdisciplinary team supporting the organization’s treatment program and philosophy, and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to psychiatric and/or chemically dependent patients and their families. Ensure department compliance and promote on-going working relationships with numerous referral sources, i.e., EAP, PPO, HMO, Department of Human Services, and Comprehensive Juvenile Services

Vantage Point of NWA is located in Fayetteville, Arkansas and is the leading psychiatric hospital in the area for the last 35 years. The 114 bed hospital provides services for all ages, including acute and residential psychiatric care for children and adolescents, and acute care for adults and geriatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assume leadership duties for licensed mental health therapists, discharge planners, and program manager.
  • Manage daily operations for all Intensive Outpatient Programs.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance of patient services for Joint Commission, Medicare, Medicaid, and state regulatory agencies.
  • Advise clinical staff with various training and hospital programs, including but not limited to, Physicians, Recreational Therapy, RN, LPN, Therapist, etc.
  • Maintain a formal means of professional accountability for all personnel within the department.
  • Oversee appropriate discharge planning process across all populations served.
  • Leadership role in patient programming and milieu management.

Job Requirements

Education: Master’s Level

License: LCSW

Experience: 2 to 3 years inpatient psychiatric hospital, preferred
