Your Impact: 

Implements business development strategies and plans to achieve facility census objectives. Develops and leads the implementation of key business strategies that cultivate and support Highland Ridge Hospital’s differentiated market position. Supervises the business development and communications staff, and develops and maintains key referral source relationships. Works closely with our Admissions Director and team to collaborate on strategic planning for Highland

Responsibilities
  • Establishes and monitors objectives with professional outreach representatives (business development staff) that ensure the develop of top accounts and consistent, loyal referral relationships
  • Develops, implements and manages personal selling system to enhance productivity and efficacy of sales program
  • Supervises the business development staff
  • Provides training and coaching to business development staff
  • Establishes/adjusts geographic territories
  • Works collaboratively with Business Development staff to maintain top accounts and strategic partnerships. Maintains identified key accounts.
  • Conducts team weekly meeting and analyzes team member productivity and results monthly.
  • Develops and implements sales support materials and campaigns that support the professional outreach representatives
  • Develops and maintains the website and other consumer direct business initiatives that ensure consistent consumer direct business
  • Develops and manages business development budget
  • Collaborates with medical staff to develop joint outreach and business development initiatives
  • Develops and maintains brand identity and marketing communications
  • Maintains active media relations to support consumer direct and professional referrals
  • Keeps current on trends and competition in behavioral health
  • Provides weekly reports to President/CEO

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, MBA preferred
  • Proven record of progressive sales history
  • Behavioral healthcare experience required
  • Ability to motivate and conduct team-building
  • Knowledge of personal selling and ability to manage a sales force
  • Knowledge of consumer direct marketing including website and public relations
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communications skills
  • Computer skills proficiency

Hours 

Normal hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.  However, schedules may vary in accordance with business necessity and travel.  Typical office working conditions.
