Job Description

Riverview Behavioral Health a division of Acadia Healthcare is looking to hire a dedicated leader in the nursing department. The Director of Nursing will report to executive leadership and oversee the nursing department of an acute care facility.

Essential Functions

  •  Plan, direct, and coordinate nursing services
  • Direct, supervise and evaluate nursing personnel
  • Provide clinical leadership
  • Determine, assign and assess performance objectives of the nursing department
  • Responsible for the quality of care, operations and finances of the nursing department
  • Lead and develop the nursing staff within the facility
  • Direct and conduct recruitment, hiring and training of personnel
  • Provide direct care


  •  Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Master's degree preferred)
  • Six or more years nursing experience
  • Five or more years nursing management or administrative experience


  •  Current RN license within the state of Arkansas
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility)
