Job Summary:

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall assessment, implementation of treatment, and evaluation of quality clinical services for patients, to include acute care and the Partial Hospitalization Program.


The DON is responsible to ensure excellent patient care is provided, as well as ensuring that there is a good working relationship between the direct care staff, the physicians, and administration by providing accurate and timely communication, training, and problem-solving recommendations.



Bachelor’s prepared in Nursing - Required

Certification in psychiatric nursing is preferred.

4 years of progressive experience in psychiatric is required; acute care, residential care, partial care or equivalent is preferred

Demonstrated ability to successfully meet licensing and accreditation standards.


Licensed in the State of employment as a Registered Nurse
