Overview

Corporate Risk Analyst

Assisting, coaching and collaborating with facility Risk Managers on the day to day management of the Acadia Risk Management Program.  The Risk Analyst must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames.

Responsibilities
  1. Coach Facility Risk Managers on a daily basis via phone.
  2. Manage the Acadia Corporate Risk Management Program for assigned facilities.
  3. Review all new incidents to determine if documentation is complete and request any additional information as needed from the field Risk Managers.
  4. Prepare and maintain the “incident investigation tracking log”.
  5. Complete telephonic follow ups when documentation is missing or additional information is required.
  6. Review documentation to ascertain corrective action plan to make ensure incident does not reoccur.
  7. Review completion of documentation for inventory and closure of incident file.
  8. Responsible for daily review of the RiskQual (HAS) data system to verify that facility Risk Managers are updating and maintaining all incident reporting data.
  9. Prepare weekly/monthly administrative RiskQual reports.
  10. Analyze your assigned facilities data and compare weaknesses and strengths of each facility. Recognize the facilities that may need your one on one guidance to conduct onsite risk assessment audit.
  11. Conduct visits to designated facilities bi-monthly to assist field risk managers.
  12. Review facility environment of care to assure the safety of patients.
  13. Conduct Educational Seminars to the facilities to assist them with weaknesses or issues that may surface by the analysis of incident reporting data.

Job Requirements



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of job-related experience; preferably as part of an Executive team.
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
