Looking to make a difference? Azure Acres is searching for an energetic and enthusiastic Clinical Director to run our residential substance abuse program.

As a passionate and excellence focused Clinical Director, you are the key to our successful substance abuse treatment program. Made up of 28 beds and 7 PHP beds, as Clinical Director, you will have the resources to implement and direct life-changing treatment to those in need.

  • Evaluates program quality
  • Participates in ongoing supervision of clients and insures that client needs are being met.                                                                                
  • Available to rotate on call coverage for department if needed. 'I've got your back'! 
  • Participates in overall treatment program changes and developments
  • Confers with other directors, physicians and standing committees
    to formulate treatment policies and management of Resources.
  • Participates in weekly treatment plan review
  • Reviews aftercare plans and makes recommendations.
  • Performs group counseling, individual counseling and family
    counseling when necessary.
  • Represents counseling services in attending multi-disciplinary
    treatment team meetings.
  • Reviews aftercare plans and discharge summaries to ensure accuracy
    and insight

Going the Extra Mile for Our Patients 

  • Holds back-to-work and back-to-home interviews involving client’s families and concerned parties when necessary
  • Monitors quality of weekend family Program and ensures implement-
    action of necessary changes / improvements.
  • Assists in establishing productive interaction of community bases resources with definitive professional treatment, rehabilitation and recovery objectives of the program. 

Job Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science/Counseling required
  • Minimum of three years of direct residential substance abuse program experience required
  • LCSW or MFT is preferred but not required 
  • Knowledge in the disease of chemical dependency and 12 step
    recovery programs required. Management/supervision experience
  • Must exhibit excellent communication skills as well as a
    basic knowledge of Title 9, UR, CARF and their
    regulatory standards.
