Essex County Sheriff's Department CTC, located in Middleton, MA, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers. Acadia Comprehensive Treatment Centers is the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation, servicing over 62,000 patients per day. Our corrections team is dedicated to serving the incarcerated population in their treatment of opioid use disorder. Your Job as a Clinic Director:

The Clinic Director has day-to-day responsibility for the management and operation of their assigned correction program(s) in conjunction with the contract partners. The primary responsibilities of our Clinic Director are the development, implementation, and achievement of the program’s strategic business plan in conjunction with routine operations. Operational oversight includes quality of services, staff development, maintenance of licensure and accreditations, financial performance and continuous performance improvement. Clinic Directors are instrumental in the treatment of our patients and oversite of our clinical staff.

We have daily shifts that allow our employees to have stable schedules and enjoy quality time away from the facility. Shift hours are early mornings from 6 AM to 2 PM, allowing you to enjoy a great work/life balance.

Your Responsibilities as a Clinic Director:

  • In conjunction with regional leadership, develops an annual operating budget and strategic business plan for the program. Manages program services and resources to meet operational and financial objectives.
  • Exercises final authority over program daily operations and will work with the Medical Director on clinical/medical related issues;
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of all program policies and procedures including daily vendor relations.
  • Responsible for the delivery of treatment services and submitting protocols, protocol amendments, and reports to the State and or Federal Departments as required and in full agreement with corporate and regional leadership;
  • Accountable for managing vendor staff, setting direction and deploying resources; typically responsible for performance evaluations, coordinating with the vendor for performance management;
  • Responsible for providing training and development opportunities for program staff.
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with all Federal and State Laws and Regulations, including the submission of corrective action plans to said agencies i.e. FDA, DEA and State ADP;
  • Responsible for the security of medications, medical records, employee records and any other documentation deemed necessary by corporate leadership, the FDA, DEA and /or State ADP;
  • Responsible for ensuring that the program protects the rights and confidentiality of all patients and to provide each with the required medical and clinical care;
  • Complies with organizational policies, procedures, performance improvement initiatives and maintains organizational and industry policies regarding confidentiality;
  • Communicates clearly and effectively to patients and other members of the health care team;
  • Exhibits therapeutic rapport with patients maintaining professional boundaries, being respectful of personal space, giving patients direct attention while maintaining rational detachment;
  • Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time; and,
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Your Skills and Qualifications as a Clinic Director:

  • Bachelor's degree in social, behavioral or mental health services field from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience with overseeing services in an outpatient environment; preferably in mental health or addiction recovery.
  • Previous management experience preferred; prefer correctional facility experience.
