Overview

Blue Mountain currently has an opportunity for a Campus Director.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Regional Administrator, the Campus Director is responsible for the supervision and management of assigned units.  The Campus Director is responsible to perform quality audits for assigned units, manage the total environment of care, oversee the entire patient care processes, and budget management.

Responsibilities
  • Oversees all unit issues regarding patient care, staffing, and budget compliance.
  • Fully manages the environment of care on assigned unit including monitoring and addressing patient behaviors, unit management, staff management, and facilities management.
  • Responsible for auditing clinical treatment provided according to established policies and procedures.
  • Oversees the management of appropriate lengths of stay, timeliness and appropriateness of discharges, and the ongoing assessment of the clinical needs of the clients on assigned units.
  • Oversees management of staff including hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating performance, discipline, and all other activities as necessary.
  • Responsible for budget management for assigned units including budget development and ongoing compliance with established budget.
  • Provides ongoing feedback and education for Lead Counselors and other staff members that work on assigned units.
  • Responsible to ensure that staff on assigned units meet annual training requirements of regulatory agencies including the Pennsylvania Department of Health, JCAHO, Office of Mental Health (Dual Diagnosis Units only), and various managed care companies.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in the field of addiction.
  • BA degree required/Masters degree in Human Services is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) in the state of PA .
  • CPR Certification.
