Overview

We are currently seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Associate for our Indianapolis Comprehensive Treatment Center.  Vaied hours Monday -Friday 6 am - 3 pm.

ICTC, a member of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, is a part of the leader in medication assisted treatment for individuals struggling with an opioid addiction. With full-circle care that includes a blend of therapies and the use of safe and effective medications, we are prepared to treat the entire problem, not just a piece of it.

Position Characteristics
The Behavioral Health Associate provides care for patients following the instructions of physicians or other health practitioners. Monitor patient’s physical and emotional well-being and report to appropriate staff. Participates in rehabilitation and treatment programs, assists patient in achieving and maintaining care goals. Delivers care based on the priority of needs and available resources to the patients of the clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Assists patients by administering basic health care or prescribed treatments;
  • Helps with admitting and discharging patients;
  • Monitors physical and emotional well-being of patients and reports unusual behavior or physical ailments to appropriate staff, prepare and maintain records of progress and services performed;
  • Encourages patients to participate in social, recreational, or other therapeutic activities that enhance interpersonal skills or develop social relationships,
  • Collaborates with other staff in working with patients to treat, and rehabilitate patients
  • Phlebotomy
  • Acquiring vitals and samples for drug screens
  • Prefoms other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prefer experience in the behavioral or addiction recovery field
  • MA required  CMA or RMA preferred

Licenses/Certifications: 

  • Complete certification in crisis intervention, CPR or other similar certifications required by the clinic
  • May require a valid state driver's in clinics where transporting patients is an essential function
