The Philadelphia Children's Crisis Response Center is a new program for the triage, intervention and stabilization of children and adolescents between the ages of 3 through 17, who are experiencing behavioral and psychiatric crisis.  This continuum of care includes a crisis and transitional unit that provides brief treatment and/or stabilization in an age appropriate, family centered, trauma informed environment. 

The Philadelphia Children's Crisis Response Center (PCCRC) is currently seeking a Assistant Program Director.  We are seeking a innovative clinical leader to develop and drive the highest quality culture within the PCCRC.  The desired leader will require a high degree of energy, optimism, dedication, passion and determination, for PCCRC and the patients we service.

The Assistant Program Director is responsible assisting the Program Director in overseeing all operations and clinical services provided at the Philadelphia Children’s Crisis Response Center (PCCRC). The Assistant Program Director will provide direct oversight and supervision to all clinical services at the PCCRC.  The Assistant Program Director will assist in the development and implementation of the PCCRC.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Registered Nurse, preferably with a BSN, who has a minimum of (3) years’ experience and expertise in early childhood development and adolescent care, and emergency psychiatric services management required.
  • Previous management experience in a psychiatric services center setting strongly preferred.
  • Development of emergency psychiatric services preferred.
  • Ability to be on call during all other hours of operations.
