Part-Time Advanced Practitioner

Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center

Psychiatric patients require care from specialty-trained professionals, in a highly-specialized, and quality-focused environment. Our team at Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center is seeking to add a like-minded Advanced Practitioner to their diverse and dynamic team.

Job Requirements

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant able to practice in the state of PA
  • Advanced nursing knowledge and clinical skills through an appropriate educational program
  • Required Certification: prefer to have Methadone and Buprenorphine DEA license
  • Ability to work early hours to meet the needs of our clients
  • Experience in psychiatric treatment preferred
  • Ability to complete initial dosing orders

Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center is a premier provider of medication-assisted treatment for those who are struggling with addictions to opioids. Providing programming for women and men aged 18 and older, Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center supplies complete care that involves a mixture of therapeutic interventions and the implementation of effective and safe medication.

With a staff of trained nurses, physicians, and counselors, Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center is able to provide patients with an environment that is secure and inviting as they begin their journey towards recovery. When individuals come to us with addictions to heroin or prescription painkillers, our dedicated and empathetic staff goes above and beyond to supervise the prescribing and administration of the medication provided so that each patient is obtaining the most effective care that will lead to a successful outcome. The medication that we supply here at Dunmore Comprehensive Treatment Center includes:

  • Methadone
  • Buprenorphine
  • Naltrexone

The specific dosage recommended will be based on the needs and health status of the patient. Any changes made during treatment will be personalized to the patient, and these changes will be made by one of our licensed professionals.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant able to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Advanced medical knowledge and clinical skills through an appropriate educational program
  • Required Certification: PA-C / CRNP
  • Ability to work early hours to meet the needs of our clients
