Part-Time Addiction Medicine Physician


  • Age Group/Range: Adults

Addiction Medicine Medical Director to provide 18 hours of treatment care and leadership to our team at the Boston CTC in Boston, Massachusetts.  The Physician is responsible for the provision of medical services to patients include prescribing, dispensing and administration of medication for the treatment of substance abuse in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations. Responsible for medical management of patients at all levels of care provided by the clinic. Conduct complete physicals, provide treatment and counsel to patients. Provides medical oversight to the nursing department under the guidance of the Medical Director and Clinic Director.


  • Licensed Physician in the state of Massachusetts
  • Active Dea-X waiver
  • Advanced knowledge and clinical skills through and appropriate educational program
  • Ability to work hours to meet the needs of our clients
  • Experience in addiction treatment preferred

This physician will have a Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited college or university. A current, valid, license in good standing with previous experience in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment.  Board certification or certificate of admissibility for board certification. Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working. Additional specific DEA credentials may be required, per state and facility or clinic regulations or policy, for example: DEA “X” number DATA 2000 Waiver to prescribe Suboxone or will accomplish ASAM, ABAM or AAAP certification within the time frame recommended by state code
