Job Description

Overview

The Systems Security Engineer III is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security standards for all aspects of IT Systems at Acadia Healthcare. Working closely with the Acadia Information Security team to help develop and contribute to the success of the overall Cybersecurity program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Responsible for deployment, configuration, and ongoing operations of all company email, servers, endpoints and other systems areas as it relates to security.
  2. Ensure all systems security areas are in compliance with best practices on an ongoing basis
  3. Lead systems security related projects and implementation efforts.
  4. Work closely with the Senior Director of Information Security on delivering compliance metrics, patching metrics and other systems security deliverables.
  5. Work closely with the Senior Director of Information Security on prioritizing systems security implementation projects.
  6. Work closely with the Senior Director of Information Security to help develop and participate in the Acadia Security Incident Response Team.
  7. Work closely with the Systems Engineering team to coordinate and communicate systems security implementation impact and changes of process.
  8. Support IT leadership and the Acadia Security Committee in the identification and communication of relevant systems security related issues, risks, and events that may adversely impact our facilities.
  9. Track, coordinate and advise on systems security implications and impact in business-driven technology projects.
  10. Maintain a state of active readiness for systems security trends, with an ability to articulate security-related themes and principles in business terms.
  11. Drive the design and delivery of systems security plans and implementation of leading practice controls, with an understanding of proactive defense principles and strategies as they relate to industry frameworks.
  12. Stays updated on current information security trends and applies that knowledge into operational policies and procedures to be implemented as part of Acadia’s information security program.
  13. Document security configurations in accordance with Security Policies and Standards.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of five years working experience and advanced proficiency in Windows and MS Exchange.
  • Minimum of three years working experience and advanced proficiency in MS Azure, EXO and O365.
  • Minimum of ten years in a hands-on technical role.
  • Solid understanding of information technology and information security
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of security frameworks and governing bodies such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Mitre Att&ck framework, and Center for Internet Security Critical Security Controls.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ethical hacking and malware analysis experience is a plus.
  • Azure experience relating to all services including but not limited to Microsoft Defender, ATP, Log Analytics, Azure Sentinel, DLP, Endpoint Manger, Defender for Identity, Intune,
  • On Premises experience with all Windows OS platforms, AD, GPO, and other Microsoft workloads.
  • VMware experience. vSphere, ESX, PowerCLI and other VMware products.
  • Scripting languages including PowerShell, KSQL, MS Graph

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Security certifications (Security+, GCIA, GCIH, CISSP, CEH, etc) a bonus but not required.
  • Microsoft certifications a bonus but not required.
