Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT:

The Senior Hyperion Analyst is responsible for supporting existing Hyperion applications, to support the growth of the business and Acadia’s overall mission. The Senior Hyperion Analyst serves as the support person and subject matter expert for the Hyperion environments on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Administer Hyperion: maintaining/tracking of hierarchy/system updates, regular database maintenance, validation and reconciliation, system security, backups and recovery, and troubleshooting system issues.
  2. Perform month-end closing data loads of statistical and financial information.
  3. Perform quarterly change control and security audits.
  4. Analyze the Hyperion systems application needs of users and formulate application solutions to meet those needs. 
  5. Execute set up and provide ongoing training for Hyperion Financial Management, Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud System, and Hyperion Smartview add-in for application’s user base.
  6. Develop and enhances Hyperion reports for both Hyperion HFM and Oracle PBCS.
  7. Creating metadata changes in Hyperion HFM and PBCS including adding new GL accounts, new departments, new formulas/scripts, etc.
  8. Working knowledge of chart of accounts mapping and uploading tool Hyperion FDMEE.
  9. Responsible for the daily operations of Hyperion Applications and their availability to our end users.
  10. Work with Oracle Support to resolve application issues via service request.
  11. Identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
  12. Act as a department liaison to various business functions.
  13. Perform ad hoc requests, including financial analysis.
  14. Collaborate with business users, technical teams and external system owners to gather and analyze requirements in order to develop solutions that meet business and technical needs
  15. Participate in the design, development, testing and implementation activities relating to project deliverables
  16. Leads medium to large internal project work teams developing project plans and work plans.
  17. Create and maintain system documentation

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance (with accounting coursework or accounting experience).
  • Understanding of financial reporting and consolidations, accounting databases and information systems.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Oracle Hyperion suite of applications application.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) required.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong, flexible team player that works to meet both personal and organization goals.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills as the individual will have extensive contact with HFM and Oracle PBCS customer base.
  • English sufficient to provide and receive instructions/directions.
