The Senior Tax Manager will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Senior Tax Manager will work in all tax areas important to the company including Federal, multi-state consolidated returns, international tax, provision preparation, tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and indirect taxes. This position will report to the Tax Director.

  • Oversees and manages the work of the Corporate Tax Accountants, Senior Corporate Tax Accountants and Corporate Tax Managers.
  • Oversees and is responsible for tax reconciliations, monthly journal entries, fixed assets, tax notices and correspondence, consultation on certain Form 1099 filings and interaction with payroll department on withholding and wage items.
  • Manages the software implementation process and updates for all tax related items.
  • Creates and generates tax reports from the financial software programs.
  • Monitors software outputs to ensure compliance with internal controls for tax.
  • Prepares quarterly and annual tax calculations for the corporate office and facilities.
  • Participate in the preparation of the quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provision calculation (ASC 740).
  • Accumulates and prepares data and coordination with outside vendors to prepare returns as required by federal, state and local jurisdictions.
  • Supports the tax audit process.
  • Researches tax issues and responds to notices from various taxing authorities.
  • Serves as a resource to the facilities for resolving local tax concerns such as sales and property taxes.
  • Maintains continuous awareness of the latest developments, best practices and trends in the functional areas of responsibility.
  • Supports the Tax Director on special projects and other assignments.


  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 7-10 years of tax accounting experience (i.e., public, corporate, or both)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Graduate degree preferred.
  • CPA preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
