We are currently seeking a full time RN Nurse Manager for our 72 bed Detox/Residential/PHP substance abuse treatment center located in beautiful Ball Ground, GA. Ball Ground is located just a few minutes north of Atlanta and just south of the north Georgia mountains on interstate I-575.

The position of Nurse manager is an integral component of the multidisciplinary treatment team at our substance abuse treatment facility. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing and is an integral part of the facilities medical and clinical treatment team. The ideal candidate must demonstrate extensive knowledge of substance abuse treatment, including detox protocols, have at least 2 years leadership experience, as well as possessing excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Essential functions include but are not limited to:

• Supervises daily nursing operations for staff, makes staff assignments and creates schedules, updates schedules.• Evaluate the quality of care, staff's work and the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the function or department.• Lead and develop the nursing staff within the facility, providing performance goals, feedback and development opportunities.• Direct and conduct recruitment, hiring and training of personnel.• Provide direct care to our clients in a compassionate manner. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Take periodic on call for nursing department. 

Qualifications:

• Education – valid RN license with the state of Georgia    • Experience – 2-3 years of experience in the substance abuse treatment field preferred; 2 years of leadership experience.• Current Driver’s License with good driving record• Certifications- CPR & CPI (provided at the facility)• Age/Gender Specifics-  Ability to work with adult male and female chemically dependent population.
