Job Description

The Lakeland Behavioral Health System is growing and adding Registered Nurses who would fit in with a very diverse, successful team of Behavioral Health Associates, Therapists, Managers and other Nurses.

We provide acute treatment for children and adolescents.  This is a challenging job, yet extremely rewarding when your patient leaves with the opportunity to live a healthy, productive life.

Some of the duties include the following:

  • Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs of patient.
  • Ensure admission and discharges are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Communicate therapeutically and professionally with patient, visitors, coworkers and others involved in the patient's treatment.
  • Ensuring patient is supervised and in a safe and comfortable environment
