AVAILABLE SHIFTS AND HOURS
McCallum Place in Overland Park is currently seeking a candidate who is available a combination of weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Provides one-on-one assistance to patients in crisis
Attends to the nutritional and dietary needs of the patients
Demonstrates normalized eating behaviors and beliefs through redirection and modeling
provides accurate and ongoing assessment of patient's status
Coordinates patients discharge and/or transition between levels of care and medication reconciliation
Communicates and advocates for each patient to appropriate treatment team members
Under nurse supervision, assist in medical tasks for patients including, taking vitals, weights, and dispensing medications
Demonstrates professional conduct, respect, and compassion towards all patients, families, co-workers and the public as a representative of McCallum Place
Demonstrate the ability to organize and complete assignments
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of Missouri
Previous psych nursing experience highly preferred
