Position Summary


The Corporate Human Resource Generalist coordinates with the Division HR Manager and Group HR Director team to provide field HR support and guidance to facilities within organization.  Provides both leadership and tactical support for assigned people service functions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides tactical support, partnering with Division HRM and Group HRD to achieve division wide goals and objectives.
  • Assists with ongoing HR Talent onboarding and orientation in partnership with Division HRM and Group HRD, as requested or assigned. 
  • Travel schedule may include onsite presence during periods of facility HRD vacancy or to assist with survey readiness activities.
  • Assists in driving People experience for a variety of locations throughout organization.
  • Assists with facility specific people initiatives as requested, partnering with Division HR Manager and Group HR Director.
  • Partners with Division HR Manager and Group HR Director to analyze People data and develop action plans to drive business success.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency and effectiveness of Field People operations.
  • Completes bi-weekly payroll review for assigned facilities to ensure that all internal control measures have been satisfied for assigned groups.
  • Conducts routine audits of various payroll, HR or Benefits records/files to ensure accuracy and compliance for assigned facilities.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Maintains general knowledge of applicable laws and regulations effecting HR functions by staying abreast of current HR principles, techniques and practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. 
  • Professional HR Certification preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR Generalist/HR leadership positions within a large company footprint which has a distributed field operations structure; health care operations experience a big plus
  • Experience in talent planning and management including talent assessment processes.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment.
