Discovery House-Clearfield CTC, located in Clearfield, PA, is one of 127 outpatient addiction recovery centers nationwide. Acadia Comprehensive Treatment Centers is the leading provider of medication assisted treatment in the nation, servicing over 62,000 patients per day. Our nursing team provides compassionate, high quality safe and efficient medication dispensing to patients that are seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder. Our mission is to provide full-circle care that includes a blend of therapies and the use of safe and effective medications. Our team is the front line of our fight against the opiate epidemic.

Your Job as a Certified Nursing Assistant:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will provide medical or therapeutic care under direction of the professional staff. You will listen to and record patients’ health concerns and report that information to the nursing team. The Certified Nursing Assistant will measure patients’ vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature and may transfer or transport patients.

We have daily shifts that allow our employees to have stable schedules and enjoy quality time away from the facility. Hours are part-time Monday - Thursday about 8 hours a day, 32 hours per week.

Your Responsibilities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Provides personal care assistance to patients, obtains vital signs, obtains urine samples, weights, and intake/output, as directed, assists with transferring as needed;
• Follows established policies, procedures and standards for patient care;
• Regularly checks on patients insuring comfort, dignity and privacy, performs related CNA duties as assigned for efficient clinic operation;
• Cleans unit as assigned, including equipment;
• Documents timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in patient's medical record;
• Collaborate with other staff in working with patients to treat, rehabilitate, and return patients to the community; and,
• Perform other duties as assigned.
