Acadia Healthcare is looking for ambitious, self-motivated, and charismatic leaders who are ready to learn the ins and outs of a people-focused, operations-driven company as part of our prestigious CEO-In-Training Program. Within six to 12 months of receiving hands-on mentorship from both seasoned, successful CEOs and corporate leadership, you will be serving as CEO at one of our many locations.

Core Program Elements

Mentor Partnership – As a CEO-In-Training, you will be paired with a respected Acadia CEO throughout the duration of the program.

Continuous Process Improvement – You will complete innovative case studies, which bring both theoretical and hands-on elements to prepare you for future success

Action-Orientated Decision-Making – You will partner with current hospital leadership teams to make decisions as operational challenges arise.

Dynamic Learning Format – You will participate in online training courses prepared by industry experts while gaining firsthand experience at our facilities.

Leadership Development – To cultivate strong leadership skills, the Acadia CEO-in-Training Program provides mentors, real-world experiences, and superior training.

  • Minimum education requirement of a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Marketing or a clinical discipline; MBA/MHA/Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in senior leadership role in a behavioral health, acute care or managed care environment strongly preferred.
  • Experience in multiple areas of healthcare operations, finance, admissions, managed care, businesses development, nursing, counseling, etc.
