We are currently seeking a full-time Behavioral Health Associate for our 10th Street Comprehensive Treatment Center. Hours are Hours

10th Street Comprehensive Treatment Center, a member of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, is a part of the leader in medication assisted treatment for individuals struggling with an opioid addiction. With full-circle care that includes a blend of therapies and the use of safe and effective medications, we are prepared to treat the entire problem, not just a piece of it.

Position Characteristics
The Behavioral Health Associate provides care for patients following the instructions of physicians or other health practitioners. The BHA is responsible for collecting and recording all UA drug screens, about 80-100 per day, into the system so that it can be moved to the lab for processing. Participates in rehabilitation and treatment programs, assists patient in achieving and maintaining care goals. Delivers care based on the priority of needs and available resources to the patients of the clinic.

  • Collects and records all UA drug screens for the facility
  • Greets and welcomes patients to the facility
  • Helps with admitting and discharging patients;
  • Encourages patients to participate in social, recreational, or other therapeutic activities that enhance interpersonal skills or develop social relationships, teach strategies to promote wellness and independence;
  • Collaborates with other staff in working with patients to treat, rehabilitate, and return patients to the community;
  • Cleans activity or treatment areas and equipment;
  • May provide transportation for patients, as needed, may include driving of clinic motor vehicle or coordinating transportation with appropriate staff member; and,
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prefer experience in the behavioral or addiction recovery field
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Previous experience working in a lab setting highly preferred


  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred
