Your Job as an Accounting Clerk:

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for assisting with the daily and monthly accounting functions of Acadia’s Comprehensive Treatment Centers nationwide. Responsible for general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of financial schedules, general ledger accounts and financial statements, such as bank statements, balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements and capital expenditure schedules. Prepares, records, analyzes and reports accounting transactions and ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance within accepted accounting policies and principles.

Your Responsibilities as an Accounting Clerk:

  • Cash reconciliations
  • Preparation of month-end templates and balance sheet reconciliation
  • Help with month-end close tasks
  • Tracking required clinical reports
  • Reviewing accounts payable batches
  • Other ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements

Your Skills and Qualifications as an Accounting Clerk:

  • High School diploma required.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience or training, including college coursework
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data and information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels, both internal and external.
